History of the Church
October 9, 2016, Long Ears for Christ Country Folk Church first opened its doors to the public with Pastor Jerry Hanson. Jerry received the calling to preach and return to his hometown, where he could provide not just a church, but a hospital for the sinners, so that they may find a relationship with God. The church opened its doors and set its foundation on the word of God.

At each service, the music is a divine expression, guided by the loving hand of God. Instead of adhering to a single genre, we embrace the beautiful diversity of sound inspired by the Holy Spirit. You can expect to hear uplifting melodies ranging from Country and Gospel to Contemporary tunes and cherished Hymns. The scripture shared in our sermons comes from the New Living Translation (NLT), a version designed to resonate with our everyday lives.
